Peony: bringing the authentic!
Afternoon snack:
Baked Tostitos and picante sauce
Kerrygold Dubliner cheese
Dinner:
Beef and Guinness Stew -- on the stove
Soda Bread -- if I can get in in the oven in the next half hour
Just remembered that I polished off the Bailey's last night. How do you say D'oh! in Irish?
Did you use the recipe I put in my FB notes for the Irish Soda Bread?
ReplyDeleteI just thought about the translation: it's O'd'oh! LOL
ReplyDeleteAlas, I did not make any soda bread. I picked up three recipes on FB -- yours, another friend's, and one from my first-cousin-once-removed-in-law's mother -- but by the time I was ready it was getting pretty late, and my child was melting down all over the floor, and the floor guy came, and... and it just didn't happen. DH was also wanting to get at the stew and did not want to wait around for soda bread.
